For my most recent news see my blog here
As you already know I secured an agent in March 2011 (eekk!!!) with my second Victorian historical, tentatively called Love & Larceny. This is with my agent right now ready and waiting on her reading list so as soon as I know anymore I will, of course let you know.
My other news? My agent and I have polished my latest contemporary romantic suspense to within an inch of its life and it is now under submission with several big New York publishers. As soon as I hear anything, I will let you know. Super excited! Here's the working blurb:
A quiet seaside town on the English Riviera isn’t the place for murder, drugs and extortion. Or so they thought…
Detective Sergeant Kat Forrester’s life revolves around her alcoholic mother and her career until Jay Garrett, an old friend, “one off” lover and ex-drug addict calls her unexpectedly. He needs her help investigating the murder of their mutual friend at Templeton Cove, Devon. Kat is torn. The case is out of her jurisdiction and her mother’s drinking is out of control – she shouldn’t leave her. But when Jay confides he feels it’s his fault their friend is dead and he could have prevented it, Kat has no choice but to go.
Jay Garratt is wealthy, successful and living in one of the most beautiful places in Templeton Cove. But that wasn’t always the case. And now he needs to make amends for his massive mistakes if he is ever to find peace.
Both struggling with their demons and anger at their friend’s death, Kat and Jay seek solace in each other and give in to a single passionate night, temporarily banishing their mutual fears and guilt. Their relationship deepens and Kat soon fears a short romance between them will never be enough…
As well as all that, I am working on a sexy contemporary romance set again in the UK - it's amazing what can happen when one woman moves her sexy lingerie and toy shop next door to a hunky single father! |
